Track Sphere Monorail transportation might very well be in our future. Here is some insight into our early ideas for a track sphere-based monorail system. This system uses 3-D solar panels (all four sides) on the monorail base columns to generate power for low speed operations, say 0 to 65 miles per hour. Above 65 miles per hour the track spheres disengage as jet engines move the vehicle up to 300 miles per hour on a grooved track. The monorail track is essentially a low cost dumb track that has no magnetic plates, but uses electric flash connectors to power the vehicle's track spheres at low speed over a grooved rail.
The benefit is dramatically lower cost in constructing the monorail infrastructure; alternative use for track sphere electric maglev regenerative drives at low speeds; and elimination of the need for lithium-ion battery packs. Yet customers travel at aircraft speeds across country with low yield (quiet) jet engines.
